Quick Verdict
HawkHost has flown under the radar since 2004, but its stack is anything but dated: LiteSpeed web servers with LSCache on every shared plan, NVMe storage, cPanel included, and six datacenter locations (Dallas, Houston, NY, Singapore, Amsterdam, Singapore/Fremont). In our 30-day test the primary plan served a WordPress site noticeably faster than comparably priced cPanel hosts, uptime held above 99.9%, and ticket support replied within an hour with real answers. Pricing starts around $2.99–4.99/mo depending on promo — renewal rates rise, but stay reasonable for a cPanel host. Best for WordPress and small business sites that want cPanel + LiteSpeed speed without premium pricing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is HawkHost good for WordPress?
Yes. Every plan runs LiteSpeed with LSCache, which is one of the fastest stacks for WordPress. Pair it with the free LiteSpeed Cache plugin and even the entry plan handles moderate traffic comfortably.
Does HawkHost include cPanel for free?
Yes — cPanel comes included on all shared and semi-dedicated plans at no extra cost, which is increasingly rare; several bigger hosts now charge a separate cPanel fee.
Which datacenter should I choose?
Pick the location closest to your audience: Dallas or New York for the Americas, Amsterdam for Europe, Singapore for Southeast Asia and Oceania. You can also request a free transfer between datacenters later.
HawkHost vs SiteGround — which should I choose?
SiteGround offers more premium tooling and a custom dashboard but costs significantly more after renewal. HawkHost gives you standard cPanel, LiteSpeed and a generous resource allowance for much less — better value if you're comfortable with a classic cPanel workflow.
Want LiteSpeed speed on a cPanel budget?
HawkHost shared plans start at ~$2.99/mo with free migrations — move in risk-free.
